Robin Stapleton has conducted many of the greatest opera singers over the last 30 years..

He made his debut at Covent Garden in A Fanfare for Europe, a gala performance in front of the assembled Heads of European States.

At the time Robin was still only 26, and was the youngest conductor to make his debut in a major opera house since Gustav Mahler.

Trained at the Royal College of Music and the National Opera Studio, Robin was THE Royal Opera Covent Garden Scholar.

From the National Opera Studio, he joined the Music Staff at the Royal Opera becoming successively the youngest ever repetiteur in the theatres history and the youngest ever Chorus Director at a major opera house.

Among the great opera singers he has worked with over the years are: Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Jose Carrera, Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Montserrat Caballe and Willard White
